Christmas Tree Exhibition in Melton Mowbray

Hypnocares was thrilled to play a small part in the annual Christmas Tree Exhibition at

St Mary's Church, Melton Mowbray, which ran from Friday 6th December 2024 until Tuesday 10th December 2024.

With so many beautiful trees and a lovely atmosphere in the church, and whilst terrible weather conditions meant the planned Christmas Tree lights switch-on was cancelled due to high winds, people braved the awful weather conditions caused by storm Darragh to attend. With tea, mulled wine and some lovely home made cakes also being served over the course of the festival, it really was a very special event.

This year those attending were asked to vote for their favourite trees and the winner was Sugar Shamrock's Grinch. It was amazing to know, that over 1700 votes were cast and that only four votes separated first and second place! Fleur's Floristry with their bridal dress themed tree won second place. Really well deserved winners, with amazing trees!

It was fascinating to see how much work goes into the Christmas Tree Festival from the Festival Planning Group through to all those taking part and the enjoyment that those visiting gained from the experience. Both adults and children enjoying the event and especially the thought and effort that was going into voting, by the children, for their favourite tree.

The Melton Tree Festival at St Mary's Church in Melton Mowbray has been running for 23 years. With schools, charities, clubs and businesses all taking part and many volunteers giving their time. The Festival was well publicised by The Melton Times and in addition covered by local television news,

A really magical Christmas event which will hopefully go on for many, many years' to come.
