Clinical Hypnotherapy and EFT Sharon Mason Dip.Hyp.

Recently I had the opportunity of working with and talking to some really interesting people.

It was lovely to have the opportunity of talking not just about clinical hypnotherapy but EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), often referred to as "tapping" or acupuncture without the use of needles.

Gary Craig was the founder of EFT in 1995 and has gone on in recent years' to develop and introduce Optimal EFT. Since the inception of EFT in 1995 many people around the world have been helped and I include both myself and my clients' in this. I believe we owe a debt of gratitude and so thank you Gary Craig.

Since inception, various studies have been undertaken with respect to EFT and I will be writing about these in the coming weeks. One such study undertaken in 2023 showed that EFT was effective in the reduction of both anxiety and stress for health care professionals and students' during covid.
